Meet Becca

I grew up on a farm in Northern Illinois surrounded by dogs, cats, cows and lots of green hills, fields and trees. I now live in Northern Georgia and love walking, exploring outdoors and spending time with my cats. I learned early on in my career that self-care, animals and nature can help manage mood while processing hard things like trauma, grief and anxiety. This continues to influence my counseling style today which is open, warm, and focused on small and accessible ways for you achieve positive change and growth.

Because I've been doing this for quite a while, I bring a diverse range of skills and experience into the space I share with my clients. I am an encourager, but I believe in challenging my clients, within their comfort and consent, to reach their goals and live within their values.

I know finding a therapist who you relate to, resonate with, and works around your schedule is SUCH a daunting task. I will always do my best to listen and understand your needs throughout treatment. I am goal oriented in my counseling, so you can know you’re on track from day one. I am also a culturally responsible and social justice-oriented therapist, inclusive to all identities.

I offer online mental health therapy (yes, even EMDR) for Georgia and Florida residents, so you can get the benefits of therapy from the comfort of your home. You may also meet my two counseling assistants - Oliver & Oreo who help (make an appearance) in my telehealth sessions!
